Why I built it

I was at the store, reached for milk, and stopped. I’ve still got some at home. So I skipped it. When I got home and poured a glass, the milk had expired.

It wasn’t the first time, and it wasn’t the last. After it happened one too many times, I realized the problem: I knew what was in my fridge, I just didn’t know what was still good. So I built Shelf Shepherd, to keep track of what I have and what needs using, before it’s too late.
